Oily skin is a result of overactive sebaceous (oil-producing) glands which cause skin to look shiny and the pores to appear enlarged. Pores can become clogged with sxcess oil, causing breakouts. Oily skin needs gentle cleansing and rebalancing without triggering further oil production.
